UnderStanding Sound Recordings is an independent music netlabel operated by TicTiger! Productions, a DIY media outfit based in San Pedro, Laguna-directly south of Manila, Philippines. We offer high-quality free legal music downloads from our roster of artists.

UnderStanding Sound Recordings is home to artists such as CERUMENTRIC, Sputumrocket, Thank Good Ness!, Fred The Promdi, Lewis*Staples and Wintersnack The Goat. Our main goal is to provide a venue of exposure for the new generation of Filipino and other Philippines-based musicians who utilize digital technology and the Internet to create innovative and uplifting music that transcends accepted popular music standards.

A Sound Relief Facebook Discussion Group, together with bands and artists from around the globe, work together with UnderStanding Sound Recordings to bring about A SOUND RELIEF: IN AID OF THE VICTIMS OF TYPHOON ONDOY, a non-profit benefit compilation album. All proceeds will go to the relief fund to help those affected by the typhoon.
